Developers of the One Park project proposed for Lexington Road and Grinstead Drive have announced a final public meeting to share an updated design for the project. The proposed zoning change, Case # 16ZONE1044, is from C-2 to Planned Development District (PDD) consisting of mixed residential, office, retail and restaurant at the intersection of Lexington Road and Grinstead Drive.
The meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 23 at 7:00 p.m. at the Highland Garage, 2036 Midland Avenue. Please note that parking is very limited so plan on arriving early. It is very important that our neighborhood is well represented.
If you cannot attend this meeting but have questions or concerns, please contact William Bardenwerper at 419-7333.
This project has NOT been approved. Louisville Metro Planning and Design and various agencies have been reviewing the original filing and will review the updated design. Those reviews will be followed by public meetings.

P-D House Welcomes Three New Board Members
We have some great opportunities to get involved in the planning of this year’s 4th of July Festival.
There are numerous committees that need help. If you are interested, please respond to this email or email Cynthia Thomas at cynthiathomas01@gmail.com.
Founded in 1998, by Crescent Hill resident and former Crescent Hill Community Council president, Richard Jett, the Spirit of Crescent Hill Award was created to honor outstanding acts of community spirit in the neighborhood. Crescent Hill is blessed to have many wonderful people who love her and are willing to selflessly give their time and talents to make her one of the best places to live in the city. Businesses and institutions as well as individuals have been recipients of the Spirit of Crescent Hill Award. Those honored may be long time members of Crescent Hill or a newcomer who has stepped up and gone to work making Crescent Hill the special place it is.
Do you know a person, business or institution working to make Crescent Hill fabulous? If so, the committee, Steve Imhoff, Evie Wilkinson, Tim Allen, Michele Hundley and Joyce Cossavella, would like to hear from you. Please contact the committee chair Joyce Cossavella at jcossa153@gmail.com with your suggestions and include a short paragraph as to why you are making the nomination. Awards are presented at the annual Dessert with the Mayor event scheduled each fall.
To see a list of the wonderful folks who have received the Spirit of Crescent Hill Award, please visit the CHCC website, www.crescenthill.us.
If you have an article that you want included in the Spring Newsletter, published March 1, please send the information to Taylor Mayer at tmayer27@gmail.com.
The Crescent Hill Community Council will hold their monthly board meeting this Thursday and it is opened to the public. Please come and see what is happening in our awesome neighborhood.
With snow season well underway in Louisville, residents and business owners are reminded that they are responsible for clearing snow and ice from the sidewalks along their properties. Under Louisville Metro Code of Ordinances 97.113:
· Owners or occupants must after each snowfall remove within 24 hours thereafter such snow as may fall on the sidewalks in front of their property. · Any responsible party failing to comply…shall be subject to the following fines: not less than $25, nor more than $100. If you have an elderly neighbor, consider shoveling theirs as well. Thanks for help keep Crescent Hill a wonderful, walkable neighborhood!
